Description

1525x1525mm Birch Plywood for Furniture

The grade of the plywood is based on the defects such as joints (live joints, dead joints, leaky joints), decay (heartwood decay, sapwood decay), worm eyes (large worm eyes, small worm eyes, epidermal worm groove), cracks (through cracks, non-through cracks), bending (transverse bending, horizontal bending, warping bending, one-side bending, multi-sided bending), twisting marks, trauma, blunt edges and other defects as indicators.

It is assessed according to the presence, size and number of these defects.

Of course, due to the different types of materials (direct use of logs, sawn logs, sawn timber, etc.), sources (domestic, imported), standards (national standards, enterprise standards), there are different provisions, such as fen, one, two, three, there are points I, II, III, etc. (level), there are also points A, B, C, etc. (level), and so on.

For further information, please refer to the relevant wood standards or materials.

Such as 《GB-T 155-2006 log defects》, 《GB-T 144-2003 log inspection》, 《GB-T 143-2006 sawing logs》, 《NHLA grading Rules for U.S. hardwood panels》, 《Canadian Sawn Timber Standard Grading Rules -2008》, 《Russian Log Standards and Inspection》, and so on.

Foresmate’s birch plywood sheet is divided into B, BB, CP, and C grades.
