Description
4×8 Marine grade plywood – Paulownia timber Foresmate
Marine plywood, like any other type of plywood, is constructed from numerous thin layers of veneer or laminates. The wood layers used in marine plywood have not been treated to be rot resistant. Waterproof glues are utilised to hold the laminates together. This means that if the plywood is exposed to moisture or dampness, it is less prone to delaminate.
Paulownia Marine grade plywood is rotary cut. Paulownia is prized for its superior strength and very light weight. This product is used in marine applications where weight is of great concern, particularly in building wood surfboards.

Application
- Even before the tree was brought to the United States, manufacturing furniture was one of the most prevalent applications of Paulownia wood in China and Japan. Its silky lustre and light weight make it an excellent choice for chests, dressers, and sofa sets.
- Paulownia Marine grade plywood has long been utilised in the production of musical instruments. It is notably common in China and Japan for creating the soundboards of stringed instruments. It is now utilised to create the body of low-cost electric guitars in the United States.
- Paulownia Marine grade plywood is popular among those who carve. It is malleable and simple to deal with. It has few or no knots and does not split when nailed or screwed into. As a result, it possesses all of the properties that painters and wood carvers want in their wood.
- Surfboards built from Paulownia wood have recently become popular in coastal areas. Its warp-resistant and lightweight properties make it an excellent surfboard material. Surfboards produced from Paulownia Marine grade plywood, unlike Balsa, do not need to be glassed.
Environmental
We possessed CARB, CE, FSC, and other certifications.WBP non-aldehyde glue allow our paulownia marine grade plywood to be used in a variety of indoor environments without fear of formaldehyde and other harmful substances. The fundamental advantage of employing waterproof glue in marine plywood is that if the plywood is exposed to moisture, or even very high humidity or boiling temperatures, the glue will not fail, and thus the plywood’s wood layers will not delaminate or come apart. If you’re making a plywood boat hull, this is a key design feature to consider. If the protective finish on the hull is damaged and the wood becomes wet, the plywood will remain structurally sound.
